About Powell Adventures
Powell Adventures, LLC specializes in creating transformative outdoor experiences for youth ages 10-17 through mobile summer camp adventures. Our trips traverse the stunning landscapes of Appalachia, offering teens the opportunity to challenge themselves, build confidence, and create lasting memories in nature.
We are committed to providing diverse adventure activities including hiking, rock climbing, caving, biking, paddling sports (Kayaking, Canoeing, Whitewater Rafting, SUP). Other activities may include zip lining, touring, and skiing. Beyond our core teen programs, we also offer adult adventure trips, school teambuilding experiences, professional guide services, and partnerships with organizations like the YMCA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, etc. for outdoor education programs and group guiding services.
- Powell Adventures, LLC is registered with the Pennsylvania Department of Health for 2026 and 2027. All staff have been cleared to work with children through FBI fingerprinting, National Sex Offender Registry Cleared, and have been trained by the State of Pennsylvania to be mandated reporters for child abuse.

^Camp Fitch YMCA still offers a trip program. Click here to book with them instead. Powell Adventures in no way intends to compete but compliment by giving parents more options. The same goes with Outward Bound, NOLS, or any other YMCA tripping programs in the areas we visit.
